How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Your contact information

We use this information if we need to get in touch if we need to discuss any aspect of your booking / purchase.  We do not send out any marketing information unless you have agreed to this before hand (opt-in).

Additional information

How we protect your data

We hold only a very limited amount of data from transactions which is typically: name, address, email address, phone number and booking details.  No Credit Card or any purchase information is processed on our website.

We use a 256 bit SSL encryption method to help protect your data.  This is not 100% secure but is recognised across the internet as the standard for encrypting data entered on our website.

What data breach procedures we have in place

We regularly remove old account data to keep any exposure to a minimum.  We use a firewall to help protect our website even further which is designed to identify and help prevent unwanted attacks.  The only information held is basic personal information: name, address, email address, phone number and order details.  If for some reason this information was accessed by any illegal process we would notify all customers affected by email.

What third parties we receive data from

We do not receive any information from third parties.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We do not process or analyse any information given to us.  The information is only used to contact customers regarding their booking and for no other reason.
